NOÉMIE JOHNS is a Franco-British lyric mezzo-soprano. Her warm and flexible voice is particularly suited to Zwischenfach repertoire. She also frequents the concert and recital platform with oratorio and mélodie. Recent engagements include, Cendrillon (title role, Massenet), Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro/ Mozart) with Wedmore Opera, Zerlina (Don Giovanni/ Mozart) at the Festival Lyrique d’Excideuil in France and a tour of Mozart’s Così fan tutte (Dorabella) with the North Wales Opera Studio (NWOS). Noémie has also performed the roles of Giannetta (Elisir d’Amore/ Donizetti) at the Chateau d’Excideuil France, Flora (La Traviata/ Verdi) Festival Lyrique Excideuil France, Kate Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly/ Puccini) with NWOS and La Marchande de Légumes (Mesdames de la Halle/Offenbach) at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (RBC). Noémie has also worked on the roles of Dido (Dido and Aeneas, Purcell), Dinah (Trouble in Tahiti/ Bernstein), Bradamante (Alcina/ Handel) and Gertrude (Louise/ Charpentier) in RBC’s opera scenes.
